As part of the move process, Asda Mobile will ask you for your phone number and IMEI number. If your phone is locked to EE, a four-digit code will be provided which you need to use when your phone asks for an unlock code after swapping your SIM.
Is Asda Mobile the same as EE?

Are Asda mobiles unlocked to any network?

Network Speeds and Frequencies
Asda Mobile customers can get 4G speeds which are roughly five times faster than a standard 3G connection. We don’t have much data on Asda Mobile’s speeds, but they’re likely to be similar to Vodafone’s (or EE’s for customers who haven’t been switched over yet).
